Assistant Teacher: Ms Rachel
My name is Rachel, and I lived in Shanghai for over a decade. I moved to California in 2018 and got a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design from the Shanghai University of Engineering Science school. I speak Mandarin, English, Shanghainese, and Cantonese. Now, as a mandarin teacher in the class, I would love to teach others about our language, Culture, and ways of life with a positive and open-minded attitude.
I have a three-year-old daughter. That’s the reason I started looking into Montessori’s theories. I gained 12 units from the Montessori early childhood education Center San Francisco Bay Area and have Pediatric CPR/First Aid training certifications. I started to work for Appleseed Montessori School in early 2021. 1 am so proud to be a part of Warner’s team, and it has grown much within. We have all the passion for our children, and I believe childhood is a crucial key stage to influence their whole life.
I spend a lot of time with my family. I love art, music, and cooking. These activities help me to relieve stress. I have always enjoyed working with children and am passionate about teaching them new skills. My goal as a teacher is to help our children to reach their potential in their journey toward developmental milestones. I am so glad to see our children growing brightly, happy and friendly.
